Interdisciplinary Leg Initiative

3rd ilegx annual meeting
11-12 April 2011
an integral part of the
Charing Cross Symposium

3rd ilegx annual meeting

We learned in the first two ilegx annual meetings that the key to success was both early referral to a specialist centre and interdisciplinary team working to save legs

The 3rd ilegx annual meeting tackles the four major causes of amputation. It will be an integral part of the 33rd Charing Cross International Symposium, which attracts a multi-disciplinary audience of vascular specialists from around the world. In 2010, 2750 delegates attended from 75 countries.

ilegx in the UK

BIBA Medical has been awarded the opportunity to arrange various innovation showcases alongside the newspapers and this provides an unexpected opportunity to project the ilegx concept - just where it needs to be heard - in the heart of Government and health policy circles surrounded by very senior leaders of health technology companies. Therefore the ilegx programme directors will introduce the ilegx interdisciplinary leg initiative at the Healthcare Innovation Expo to be held on the 9-10 March 2011 in ExCel, London, UK. This event is supported by the Department of Health and the NHS and aims to be one of the top 5 global healthcare innovation events attracting 10,000 delegates.
