CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Deadline: September 11, 2009
Ilegx presents the 2nd interdisciplinary consensus summit addressing definitions, diagnosis, prevention and definitive management of leg/foot tissue loss.
The ilegx Programme Directors invite you to submit your abstracts for consideration. Abstracts will be presented as poster presentations. Submitting authors must register for the symposium and are eligible to half price registration fees once their poster has been accepted.

All abstract submissions are eligible for the 'ilegx Best Poster Presentation Award'. The winning submission will receive a prize of 500 Euros.


Preparation of your Abstract

• Language and Wordcount - abstracts must be written in English and are strictly limited to 250 words (including title and author related information)
• Author Name(s) - the submitting author is designated as the presented author and must be listed first. All other authors should be listed thereafter. Each institute of affiliation represented by the authors should be listed.
• Title - an abstract must have a short, specific title (containing no abbreviations) that indicates the nature of the investigation.
• Format - abstracts should use the Purpose / Methods / Results / Conclusion format. Describe briefly the purpose of the study. Include a brief statement of methods. State findings in sufficient detail to support conclusions. Please submit abstracts electronically in Word or Powerpoint format.
• Text - please keep abbreviations to a minimum. If standard abbreviations need to be used they must be placed in parentheses after first use of the word or phrase abbreviated. Do not include references, credits or grant support. Do not include the names or person information of any patient participating in the study or trial. Please proofread abstracts carefully before submission in order to avoid errors.
• Deadline - abstracts must be submitted latest by Friday, September 11, 2009. Please submit them electronically to abstracts@ilegx.com
• Acceptance notification - final acceptance notifications will be send by email before September 24, 2009. Abstracts are selected by the Programme Directors on the basis of their scientific merit. Expenses associated with the presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the presenter.
• Poster presentation format - all accepted abstracts are to be presented as posters. The size of the poster is A1 vertical, i.e. 841 mm by 594 mm.
